The Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Program has achieved ‘Unggul’ (Excellent) National accreditation. The pedagogical approach utilizes Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and the Independent Campus (MBKM) framework. The program offers specializations in Mechanical Design & Automation, Manufacturing Technology, Energy conversion, and Materials, all of which can be completed within 8 semesters.”

Learning is implemented through Outcome-Based Education (OBE), in which students are trained to develop cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills through a range of academic and non-academic activities. Students’ mechanical design capabilities are honed through Capstone Projects—comprehensive machine design tasks—as well as various Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) initiatives, such as industrial internships at national and international companies. The program offers both Regular Morning and Evening classes. It utilizes a blended learning system, cross-disciplinary study through the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) program, and provides Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for students with relevant professional experience or academic and non-academic achievements.”
